The National Nzalang earned the victory in a match that it controlled at all times and in which it showed that the work carried out by the coaching staff is increasingly assimilated by the players.

The team's starting lineup was: Carlos Akapo; Igor Engonga; Rui (C); Miguel Angel Boriba; Federico Bikoro; Cristobal Aloga; Ellong Doualla; “Josete” Miranda; Ibán Edu and Chupe.

The early stages of the match were dominated by the Nzalang, which, in a strategic play, scored the first and only goal when Igor Engonga splendidly finished off a pass from foul shot by Iban Edu.

Esteban Becker's boys continued to dominate and had the most chances. Josete almost scored the second goal after a great pass from Chupe, who had received a pass from Iban Edu.

The only clear chance of Andorra came after 24 minutes when two consecutive shots were rejected by Akapo and the subsequent shooting of the Andorrans was cleared by Embela.

The second half started with the changes of the goalkeeper and striker in the Nzalang. Embela and Chupe left the field, giving way to Ovono and Christopher. The first big opportunity in this second half was once again the Nzalang's. Josete dribbled past two players and his pass was finished off by Doualla, forcing Andorra's goalkeeper to make a great stop.

From that moment on, the match entered a phase of control by the Nzalang, which made several changes, having Kike Boula, Mbele and Sipoto come into the field. The Andorrans tried but were unable to create danger in Ovono's area, who did not have to make a single stop.

After this important victory, the team will continue its preparation for the match it will play against Benin in Bata, on the first day of the qualifying rounds for the African Cup of Nations Gabon 2017.
