News The activities of the 5th Session of the APPA continue The city of Malabo is the venue of the work of the 5th Session of the African Petroleum Producers Association (APPA), which focuses its deliberations on issues related to the association itself, the quality of the products and the information on the number of oil rigs and production blocks in each member country.


The Hotel Sofitel Malabo Sipopo Le Golf was the venue the debates between the experts of the delegations of the APPA countries which, in the context of the 5th Meeting of Local Database Administrators, held on March 18, have examined the updates of its database and the analysis of query interfaces, before the upcoming presentation in the Council of Ministers of the association.

For its part, the Algerian delegation made a presentation on the national energy balance sheet, and with the signing of the final report concluded this session of data managers.

Regarding the agenda of the next few days: on Thursday, March 20, will be the presentation of the report on the promotion and dissemination of comparative results and the model contract of production of member countries, the study of the conditions for improving the local content, the domain of petroleum activities in member countries and the presentation of the results of the workshop organized in Vienna by the World Bank.

On March 22, the work will end with the closing speech of the discussions and on March 31 the meeting will close with the meeting of the Council of Ministers of the institution.
