News Fausto Abeso Fuma reviews the works of the Bata Airport The Delegate Minister of Civil Aviation, Fausto Abeso Fuma, assisted by the Regional Delegate of this department, Eugenio Nguema, held a meeting to expedite the work of the Bata Airport, after having been stopped for several years. The Minister met with officials from Somagec, the company that has already taken up the works.


The meeting, held on Tuesday, March 11, between Fausto Abeso Fuma and some of the heads of the construction company Somagec, had the objective of learning about the progress of the work being carried out in the airport terminal of the continental capital.

The Delegate Minister of Civil Aviation, after visiting some of the works, said that the work of the extension of the second runway, the technical block and the firefighter camp, to name a few, are entering their final phase. Also, the biggest obstacle to the opening of the airport, the reservoir, in less than a week will be operating as a water supply system.
