Sports End of the Nzalang's ambitions for Brazil 2014 The national team has lost all the possibilities of attending the 2014 Brazil World Cup, after a 1-1 draw on Sunday at the New Stadium of Malabo, against the national team of Tunisia.

Equatorial Guinea's team played a good match, despite the regrettable absence of its main scorer, Emilio Nsue, who could not be in the match because of federal suspension, due to yellow card accumulation, but it was unable to beat Tunisia's team, the only option to continue with a chance of qualifying for Brazil 2014.

Equatorial Guinea inaugurated the scoreboard after 31 minutes of play thanks to a penalty shot made by captain Juvenal Edjogo, who deceived the Tunisian goalkeeper Moez. During the rest of the match, Equatorial Guinea had other occasions, some very clear, as that of Obina, who, after getting rid of the defense and leaving the goalie on the ground, missed the wide open net less than two meters from the line goal.

For its part, Tunisia also had similar occasions, but was unable to pierce Danilo's goal in the first half. With the 1-0 result, the two teams went into halftime.

In the second half, Equatorial Guinea changed Cesar for Akapo, to enhance the front lines, but a dangerous play by the Tunisian player Chamad, on the sideline, managed to deceive the referee, who whistled a nonexistent penalty, scored by Ousama transformed in the 64th minute.

At the end of the match there were several changes, entering Bodipo for Obina, but his failed breaks could not change the score, and the Nzalang was out of the World Cup Brazil 2014.
