News European market gives green light to AstraZeneca The European Medicines Agency (EMA) has given the green light to the anti COVID-19 vaccine from the pharmaceutical company AstraZeneca


For the moment it not known whether it is effective in ages under 18 years of age, and if it is effective against the new strains of COVID-19. According to EMA sources, they have ordered AstraZeneca to research those aspects.

With this latest approval, there are now a total of three anti COVID-19 vaccines authorised for sale in Europe. The vaccines from the pharmaceutical companies Pfizer and Moderna were the first to receive approval from the European Medicines Agency.
