Head of State The UNESCO-Equatorial Guinea International Prize will be awarded in our country A large delegation from the UNESCO will visit Equatorial Guinea from July 6 to 12 in order to further prepare the delivery of the second edition of the UNESCO-Equatorial Guinea International Prize for Research in Life Sciences, which will be held in our country.


The Permanent Delegate of Equatorial Guinea to the UNESCO, Mariano Ebang Anguesomo, told www.guineaecuatorialpress.com that the delivery of this second edition of the award will take place on September 15 in Equatorial Guinea, and will be the responsibility of H.E. the President of the Republic, Obiang Nguema Mbasogo.

Ebang Anguesomo also announced that the best scientific and research papers will be selected by an international jury, which will issue its verdict in Paris (France), at the end of July. He also said that the award ceremony will be attended by the Director General of the UNESCO, Irina Bokova.

As the Permanent Delegate of Equatorial Guinea to this body, Ebang was received on the morning of July 4 by Bokova, in order to outline all the details of the mission that will visit our country. Ebang was accompanied in that audience by Pancracio Esono Mitogo Obono, Deputy Permanent Delegate of Equatorial Guinea to the UNESCO.
